Would give negative stars if I could. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with the level of customer service this company offers. Will never shop again and hope others are warned to do the same! I purchased a window AC unit a little over a month ago and was unable to have it at my apartment so I went to Walmart to return it and get my $200 back. $200 is a lot when you work a low end wage job. Anyway they could not refund my money even though it was in the appropriate time frame to return it. That was because the serial number on the product did not match my receipt. Meaning the product was put into the wrong box. Keep in mind the product was BRAND NEW. Everything was in perfect condition and the box looked like it was straight from the manufacturer, not a returned product. Anyways they told me there was nothing they could do at Walmart and to call GE. Called GE and spent 30 minutes getting bounced around and told the only way I could get a refund was to buy a new product and then they would refund the other one because they don't do straight refunds. WHAT? So I would be out the 200 either way. I really don't see the point. I even talked to a supervisor and she was rude and unhelpful as well. Now I am out $200 which I could really use right now because someone at GE failed to package my product properly but yet GE refuses to take the blame for the issue. Saying it's a Walmart issue as if that even makes sense. Walmart does not package products from outside manufactures. I am just utterly disappointed that no one was able to help me and this is probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with.
